The present continuous is used for :
1 -actions happening at the time of speaking:
                      ex: We are studying the present continuous at the moment
2-temporary states:
                     ex: Samir is looking for a job.
3- future arrangements:
                      ex: Our teacher is giving us a test tomorrow.
Verbs not normally found in the continuous form
verbs of senses: feel, taste, see, hear ...
verbs of emotions : love, hate, like, want, adore,detest....
verbs of thought, knowledge,opinions: think, believe, know, remember            forget,agree...
other verbs like: cost,seem, have, belong to...
